The charon were exiled from their home world by some unknown force. They were thrusted into the void where millions died in the first week. The void is a dark place teaming with desperate life forms willing to do anything to survive. Only through power and cunning did the charon manage to survive.

The most notable aspect if the charon is their eyes. They are "indigo or carmine, or sometimes both together, depending on the light.".

It took only one hundred charon to take Aachan from the aachim. This is a tribute to the strenght and cunning of the charon (and Rulke's luck!).
